We’re delighted that our fairytale Cinderella Ball will be host to a very special guest star: a Twitter mirror!
The mirror, which allows guests to snap “photo booth”-style self portraits and instantly post them to Twitter, has been a backstage attraction at the Academy Awards and the Grammys, and is currently capturing behind-the-scenes snapshots on the Dancing With The Stars set. In just four days’ time on May 3, the mirror will be in San Francisco — giving a glimpse into the Ball and After Party on the opening night of Christoper Wheeldon’s new Cinderella!
Guests at the Ball will be able to take images of themselves (alongside our dancers) using the mirror and tweet their photos live via the SF Ballet Twitter account (@sfballet), from the fairytale surroundings of our specially-created Cinderella tent — just like these distinguished folks did:
— The Academy (@TheAcademy) February 25, 2013
— The GRAMMYs (@TheGRAMMYs) February 11, 2013
— Official DWTS (@DancingABC) April 23, 2013
Want to be there for a magical photo opportunity? Get on your gown and glass slippers and join us on May 3! Tickets for the After Party are $125 and include an open bar, a range of savory and sweet delicacies, music from live DJs and the opportunity to show our dancers your moves on the dancefloor: all in a beautifully-imagined setting inspired by this innovative and theatrical production.
Can’t join us on the night?
