A Personal Goodbye From Pierre-François Vilanoba

This Sunday (April 21, 2013) Principal dancer Pierre-François Vilanoba gave his last performance at SF Ballet, after 15 years with the Company. He wanted us to pass on this message to you all:

Sometimes life events make evident what really matters to us in ways that are undeniable. This past Sunday–my final performance with SF Ballet–was one of those moments for me. The love, support, and bonds that were palpable both on and off stage will remain deep within my heart.

I want to thank everyone involved in that extraordinary shared feeling: patrons, colleagues, friends, and family. Whether it was in person or through messages, I have been touched deeply, and I will take this sense of goodwill and support with me as I embark on a new beginning.

Thank you again, and hopefully our paths will cross again.

Fondly,

Pierre
