Top 10 Reasons to Attend Student Showcase

1. You have a fabulous opportunity to catch the Showcase performance on May 27, along with a spectacular dinner hosted by the SF Ballet Auxiliary (other showcase performance dates are May 26 and 28)!

2. Doing good is always in style! All proceeds benefit the San Francisco Ballet School and its amazingly talented students.

3. Many of the Company’s dancers begin their professional careers, training at the SF Ballet School.

4. Fegerlicious! Romuald Feger, the Executive Chef for the St. Regis San Francisco, will create scrumptious meals for the Showcase dinner on the 27th.

5. The Student Showcase is a great opportunity to see the School’s range, from beginning students giving class demonstrations, to advanced-level students performing repertory showcasing their budding
talent.

6. Have a VIP experience! Be a part of the inaugural live auction at the Showcase dinner, which offers rare and unique packages.

7. Break out your ballet flats! The Showcase dinner is the last event planned by San Francisco Ballet Auxiliary, for the season.

8. Get a jump on your Memorial Day weekend, by celebrating the SF Ballet School’s incredible faculty and students, including the School’s Associate Director Lola de Avila!

9. The advanced-level students will perform a program that includes an excerpt from SF Ballet Artistic Director & Principal Choreographer Helgi Tomasson’s The Sleeping Beauty.

    Wednesday’s Student Showcase was
    outstanding! Parrish Maynard’s
    LUSIONS was stunning, a real gem
    that showed the dancers at their best.
    Would love to see this again, but sold out.
    Why not open the
    seating in the Orchestra Pit to allow
    more people to see this great program?
